Integration with existing systems
The Platinum architecture allows integration with any ERP or proprietary system.
The platform can be expanded with any type of ad-hoc application you need, as it is based on an open architecture.
Therefore, if you need to access extrenal data sources (ERP, company DB, etc.) through your Internet or Intranet site, Platinum is able to integrate such sources, by importing it into the Platinum DB or accessing directly the external sources.
The integration is typically carried out by using a synchronisation framework based on Talend (in the case of importing the data onto the Platinum DB) or on Quartz in combination with iBatis or Hibernate (in the case of direct access to DB tables).
In cases of complex integrations with many information systems, the integration is based on Enterprise Service Bus, such as MULE.
Thanks to a specific plug-in Platinum integrates natively with Alfresco ECM, a document management platform.
